Ege Özyeğin is a Turkish businessman, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. He was born on April 12, 1986, in Istanbul, Turkey. He is the son of Fehmi Özyeğin, the founder of Fiba Group, a Turkish conglomerate. Ege Özyeğin completed his undergraduate studies in Industrial Engineering at Northwestern University in 2009, and later earned his MBA from Columbia Business School in 2014.
After completing his studies, Ege Özyeğin worked at Goldman Sachs' Investment Banking Division, where he was involved in various mergers and acquisitions. He later returned to Turkey to work for Fiba Holding, where he is currently a board member.
In addition to his business activities, Ege Özyeğin is also involved in several philanthropic activities. He is the founder of the Ege Özyeğin Foundation, which aims to support young people's education and empower women to participate in the workforce. The foundation has initiated several projects, including "Work & Life School," which provides vocational training to women, and "Future Leaders," which provides scholarships to high-achieving university students.
Ege Özyeğin is also a member of various organizations, including the Young Presidents' Organization (YPO) and the strategic board of Endeavor Turkey. Forbes included him in their "30 under 30 Europe 2017: Industry" list.
